When Green is Not Good

Be sure to join us Tuesday, March 14 at the Wayne Theatre in Waynesboro, Virginia for the next 'Science Talk' at 7pm! If you can't make it, don't fret. The talk will be streamed live on the Facebook pages of the Wayne Theatre and the Virginia Museum of Natural History!

This month's talk "When Green is Not Good: Nuisance and Harmful Algae in the Shenandoah River Watershed" is presented by Tara L. Wyrick, Regional Water Monitoring and Assessments Manager at the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality, and Dr. Morgan Steffen, Associate Professor in the Department of Biology at James Madison University.

Admission:

$10 for ages 18-59
$5 for ages 3-17, seniors 60+, and college students
FREE for children under 3, museum members, and members of ASTC participating institutions

My 4 year old son loves going to the museum. The exhibits are educational, interactive and kid-friendly.
