We had a blast hosting over 100 Boy Scouts, parents and siblings from the greater Charlotte, N.C. area (Weddington) this past Saturday and Sunday for a "Mad Scientist" sleepover! Scouts spent Saturday evening indulging their scientific curiosities as they participated in classroom programs, such as "Solid, Liquid, or Gas?" and "Explosive Experiments"!

Of course, a pizza dinner, exhibit tours and movie time were also part of the evening activities before everyone spent the night among the dinosaurs and other ancient life of the museum. For their participation, Scouts earned a museum sleepover badge and certificate!
