The Virginia Museum of Natural History in Martinsville hosted its 26th Annual Thomas Jefferson Awards ceremony on Thursday, March 14 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the German Club on the campus of Virginia Tech in Blacksburg. The VMNH Thomas Jefferson Awards ceremony is a statewide event that honors individuals and corporations for outstanding contributions to natural science and natural science education. The Thomas Jefferson Awards were made possible generous support from CRT/tanaka, Norfolk Southern, Bruce Wingo, the College of Natural Resources and Environment at Virginia Tech, and by contributions to the VMNH Discovery Fund, VMNH Memberships, and VMNH Corporate Partnerships.
