Dragon Festival kept much of the museum staff busy on Saturday, but we made sure to have a presence at Hokie BugFest, too! Dr. Kal Ivanov, assistant curator of invertebrate zoology, and Aryanna James, paleontology assistant, traveled to Blacksburg to show-off some of the museum's entomology collection to BugFest attendees!
If you missed it, fret not! The museum is offering its own festival of bugs on Saturday, June 15!
Tuesday - Saturday: 10am - 4pm
Sunday - Monday: Closed
$10 for ages 18-59
$5 for ages 3-17, seniors 60+, and college students
FREE for children under 3, museum members, and members of ASTC participating institutions
My 4 year old son loves going to the museum. The exhibits are educational, interactive and kid-friendly.
