Dr. Elizabeth Moore, VMNH Curator of Archaeology and Dr. Bernard Means, VMNH Research Associate and Director of the VCU Virtual Curation Laboratory joined archaeologists from MD, VA, and DC for an archaeology festival organized by Archaeology in the Community and held at Dumbarton House, NSCDA Museum & Headquarters. Over 200 visitors participated in activities and learned about the many ways they can learn about and participate in archaeological research. We hope to see some of the young budding archaeologists visiting us soon.
