Curious young minds are back on the campus of James Madison University taking part in the university's "College for Kids" enrichment program for children in grades 1-8! Today, VMNH is teaming up with JMU to provide the students with hands-on lessons in animal classification on the campus of JMU. Additionally, museum educators are connecting remotely with the students from within the exhibit galleries of the Martinsville-based museum!
Tuesday - Saturday: 10am - 4pm
Sunday - Monday: Closed
$10 for ages 18-59
$5 for ages 3-17, seniors 60+, and college students
FREE for children under 3, museum members, and members of ASTC participating institutions
My 4 year old son loves going to the museum. The exhibits are educational, interactive and kid-friendly.
