A couple more pics of the museum's upcoming exhibit, "Lepidoptera", which is currently being installed!
Lepidoptera is a large insect group that includes moths, butterflies, and their close relatives, the skippers. With approximately 160,000 described species, it is one of the four most species-rich animal orders in the world. The other three - Coleoptera (beetles), Hymenoptera (ants, bees and wasps), and Diptera (flies) - are also insects.
The exhibit is scheduled to be completed in Winter 2021 and will feature over 700 specimens from across the world!
